Peanut Butter Thumbprint Cookies
Peanut butter and jelly is a classic combination for a reason. These cookies work especially well with Strawberry or Strawberry Raspberry Butter.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt (if using unsalted peanut butter)
- 2–3 tablespoons Bauman’s fruit butter
Directions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar until smooth. Add egg and mix well.
- Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined, scraping bowl as needed.
- Roll dough into 1-tablespoon balls.
- Flatten slightly and bake for 7 minutes.
- Create an indentation with a ½ teaspoon and fill with fruit butter.
- Bake another 8–10 minutes, until edges begin to brown.
